A small shop's website rarely needs to sell anything online. It needs to make someone want to come in, and tell them where and when they can. This template gives you a complete single-page boutique site built around the collections you carry, the story behind the shop, and the practical details that turn a browser into a visitor.
Collections, story, hours — one page
Everything sits on one page. A hero with the shop's name and its character, then featured collections or categories — what you stock, grouped the way you would describe it to someone at the door.
Below that, a brand story section, your opening hours and location, and a contact section. Sections can be added, reordered or removed afterwards by describing the change in plain language.
Boutiques and independent shops
Clothing boutiques, gift shops, homeware and lifestyle stores, bookshops, florists and any independent retailer whose stock changes with the season. The example is a fashion boutique, but the shape suits most small retail.
It suits a shop with a physical door. A purely online seller would find the missing piece obvious very quickly, which is the next section.
What the page does, and what it does not sell
There is no cart, no checkout and no payment collection. Nothing on a generated site takes money, and a boutique page should not imply otherwise. What it does is show what you carry and get people through the door — which for most independent shops is the actual objective.
The contact form works the moment you publish, with enquiries landing in your Leads inbox inside WebEasys, filtered for bots, on every plan including free ones. One variant of it is a newsletter-style signup, and it is worth being precise: it captures the address into your Leads inbox. There is no mailing list tool and nothing sends anything on your behalf — exporting those addresses into whatever email service you use is a manual step.
A WhatsApp button is free on every plan when a number is set, and independent retailers tend to get real use out of it: "do you have this in a 12" is a message, not a form submission.
Free sites publish on a webeasys.app address with a small "Made with WebEasys" badge. Your own domain and badge removal are on the paid plans.
Real products and real hours first
Replace the example collections with what you genuinely stock this season, and be specific — "Scandinavian homeware" tells someone more than "quality products" ever will.
Then hours and address, which for a shop with a door is the single most useful thing on the page. Then the photographs: the site launches with stock imagery, and any image that fails to load is detected and replaced with a styled block rather than left broken, but stock retail photography looks like every other shop. Your own window display does not. Upload up to five real photos in one edit.
Each change is an instruction in your own words, and each costs one credit, the same as generating the site did — worth knowing if you plan to refresh the collections every season.
Common questions
- Can customers buy from the site?
- No. There is no cart, checkout or payment collection of any kind. The page shows what you stock and captures enquiries into your Leads inbox, with a WhatsApp button as the quicker route. For an independent shop the goal is usually getting someone through the door rather than shipping a parcel.
- Does the newsletter signup actually send emails?
- No. It captures the address into your Leads inbox like any other enquiry. There is no mailing list tool and nothing is sent on your behalf, so moving those addresses into whatever email service you use is a manual step. Label it honestly on the page.
- How do I update the site each season?
- Describe the change in plain language — "replace the collections with autumn knitwear, coats and boots" — and the section is rewritten. Each edit costs one credit, the same as generating the site did, so a seasonal refresh is one credit rather than a rebuild.
- How much does it cost to try?
- Nothing. Signing up gives you five credits with no card, and one credit generates a complete site, so you can build the shop page and still have credits left to change the collections.
